Ligindogo as the name translates to English means small league, based in the outskirts of Nairobi, it was founded by  karani nyamu 14 years to help develop young soccer talent. karani nyamu on ligi ndogo says It targets young men aged between 8 years and 16 years who work and train for future.

The team has different mini teams to help run the soccer club well…..

The Atom: it targets children between the ages of 4 and 7 years. Here the kids taken through fun activities related to soccer so as to help them develop their skills,

Junior’s team: kids are guided on how to focus on emerging players of an older age bracket than the atom level. It is at this level that a player is taught more structured lay like ball work, footwork, passing, shooting and goal keeping

Rising teens: Here kids are exposed to more training to help them develop what they learnt at the junior level. Attack and defense skills are prioritized and so are the major skills in Changing direction, Shooting  and Accuracy, Receiving  and Control, Passing: Direction, Possession & Penetration.

Aside from these, luke ouko and karani nyamu have given much thought and effort in the FKF premier league. Since its inception Ligi Ndogo has toured the world to take part in various tournaments the prestigious Keele International Cup formerly (Umbro International cup) held annually in Manchester and now Keele. Ligi Ndogo’s achievements in these tournaments have been commendable with the various teams winning trophies and medals on numerous occasions.

Plussbank Cup is a tournament for adolescents aged between 8 and 18 years. It began in 2008 and has attracted more than 1000 teams since. It is run by clubs, Vindbjart and Donn. PlussbankCup offers a very good experience to players and families who choose to combine the cup and holiday in southern Norway.
